Custom Made Covers
We keep polycotton canvas and a range of acrylic canvas in stock in many shades and have next day access to many other fabrics.
We can offer advice on the best use of materials for any application. We can manufacture from patterns, measurements or go on to site to measure ourselves.

Awnings
We have made everything from a large marquee for a rock concert to cricket pavilion windowed front screens to a tent for a Patagonian expedition. Handling large pieces of fabric and being able to computer cut sections into components which need to match up allows us to cope with unusual fabric structures.

One Design Covers
Our one design covers are usually built from breathable Polycotton Canvas. They feature 50mm velcro closures, shroud gaiters with velcro closures, webbing underties and heavy duty buckles.
Breathable covers are highly recommended as they extend the racing life of a boat by allowing the boat to dry out. Although PVC is cheaper, condensation is held in causing the boat to deteriorate and absorb water.

Sprayhoods
We offer a re-covering service for sprayhoods and canopies, based on patterning the old fabric. This is the cheapest replacement option but requires the old hood to be intact.
We can offer a complete bespoke design and build service. We visit the boat, design the frame to your requirements, pattern on site, positioning windows, zips and fastenings, then build the hood. It is then merely a case of attaching the hood to the fixings supplied.

We have made a number of cockpit canopies to attach to the rear of the sprayhood.

We make sailcoats of all descriptions, including lazybags .

Furling Genoa Zip Luff Socks
Zip luff socks offer an alternative to the UV strip applied to a genoa. Built in acrylic canvas they are water resistant and breathable. Although more expensive than a UV strip, they last a long time, may be used to cover more than one sail and do not add weight to the sails as does a UV strip.
Our zip socks can include a lacing which is simply tugs when the sock is hoisted to pull out excess cloth at the head of the sail. No threading is needed.
V strips are more suitable for exposed anchorages.
