CLASS 3
We became involved with Class 3 in mid '98 producing a Kevlar
bi-radial sail for John Cookson which he used at the Europeans.
He made a promising start as top Brit. We followed this sail with
two versions in spectra, a tall rig to suit steady conditions
and a shorter, wider rig for gusty offshore conditions. This rig
has been adopted by most of the British Class 3 sailors.
Following on from experience gained last year we have produced
a prototype flatter sail coupled with a new mast which is undergoing
trials at this moment.
